I take some of my animals to fairs and events to raise money for the charity Porridge and Rice that supports schools in the Nairobi slums, home to some of the poorest people in the world. It is a great opportunity for children (of all ages) to see and pet animals to which they normally do not have access.
In addition, from time to time, I open my home to the public, again to raise money for Porridge and Rice. If you are interested in attending one of these Petting Days, fill in the contact form and you will be added to the mailing list.
